There is real value in the therapeutic and socialization benefits of participating in sports – the strengthening of participant’s self-esteem and the disciplines of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play. We supply an opportunity for people with disabilities to participate fully in sports regardless of their personal limitations and/or ability. It is our goal to get children and adults with disabilities off the sidelines and into the game. DSRC sponsors a bowling league and a softball program called ACES SM
Our bowling league, Wheelers and Dealers, is fun for all ages and runs from October to April at Alert Lanes in Essexville.
ACES – All Children Experience Sports program was founded in 2002 and has hosted softball for children and adults with disabilities ages 6 and up. We will play between 5-7 games on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Northeast Little League (location may change for 2023). Our final game is followed by a banquet celebrating our players! A schedule of games and the registration form will be posted here once the dates are finalized. Additional required forms are:
Medical Release-Health Examination Form Fillable (Dr must sign form)
MEDIA RELEASE FORM Fillable from PrintShop
